The Third Man, one of the greatest movies ever made, has one of the most boring intros: an awfully long close-up shot of a zither being played, with names of actors slowly fading in and out. I think Orson Welles’ masterpiece deserves better. I created a new intro, using techniques which did not yet exist in 1949, while fully keeping the mysterious aura of a classic film noir.
